A balloon over the lot outsells a banner on the fence, for the same reason a billboard beats a flyer.
Local
Virginia Advertising Balloons work in Virginia
Most of our Virginia promotions run around Virginia Beach and Richmond, and along I-64 where the traffic already is. The State Fair of Virginia in Doswell is the fixture worth planning around if you sell to the public.
A long season either side of a humid summer. Coastal sites plan around the tropics from late August.
How it works
Order, artwork, proof, build, ship. Most promotions run two to three weeks from the first call to the balloon being in the air.
Pharmacies and clinics
Flu season and new-clinic openings both want visibility for a few weeks only. Buying a permanent sign for a temporary message is the wrong trade.
Hospitals and health fairs
Health fairs need to pull people who had no plan to attend. Visibility from the road is what turns a scheduled event into a busy one.
Churches and community events
Community events rely on people who were not planning to come. Something visible from the road converts passing traffic better than a flyer posted a week earlier.
Questions we get
Do I need a permit?
It depends entirely on the city and how high you fly. Most sites under fifty feet on private property are straightforward, but ring your local planning office first.
How much helium does it take?
A ten-foot blimp takes about 105 cubic feet. A twenty-five-foot one takes about 440. Helium is bought locally rather than shipped with the balloon.
What happens in wind?
Every balloon has a wind rating and it should be respected. In consistently windy places a smaller balloon that stays up all weekend beats a larger one that does not.
What we build
- Advertising blimps — Helium blimps from 10 to 30 feet, flown on a tether above the building. Visible from roads that cannot see your sign.
- Cold-air inflatables — Ground-standing shapes, characters and product replicas, run on a quiet blower. No helium.
- Round balloons — The classic sales-event balloon, 4.5 to 14 feet across. The cheapest way into outdoor advertising.
